WIDOS HRG 3 / HRG 4

2-ring installation machine for the heating element butt welding of pipes and fittings out of PE and PP enabling welding jobs in narrow places. The welding machine has been reduced to an absolute minimum in its geometrical dimensions and adapted in the handling in a way that pipes and fittings can be safely clamped and welded starting with a distance/clearance of appr. 50 mm between component and structure. By using special and patented lower shells in each pipe diameter it is possible to guarantee the minimal clearance for every dimension. The aligning of the pipes must be done separately on special pipe supports.

The WIDOS HRG 3 and HRG 4 can be used on the construction site and in the trench. Pipes and fittings out of PE and PP from OD 200 up to OD 450 can be processed. The electrical hydraulic unit for the exact control of the joining force features a pressure backup system to support the welding force during cooling and 2 quick-action couplings as well as a digital pressure gauge for the exact indication of the pressure. The heating element is anti-stick coated and has an electronic temperature control with digital display. For the heat-protected storage of the heating element, a heat-protected box is available.
