WIDOS ASM 315

The WIDOS ASM 315 WM is a manual plastic welding machine for the PE and PP heating element butt welding of reduced T-pieces in highest quality in the workshop. It is designed for main pipes up to OD 315 and branch pipes up to OD 250. Mechanical force by spring tension (max. 100 daN) with welding pressure scale. The WIDOS ASM 315 WM has an adjustable hydraulic unit for the welding force, a stable base frame, a flexible heating element and a separate temperature control.

The WIDOS ASM 315 WM is a stationary welding machine for the efficient heating element saddle welding of reduced T-pieces out of polyolefines for main pipes up to maximum OD 315 and branch pipes up to maximum OD 250, maximum machine force 150 daN. The machine is built on a solid and torsion-free basic frame; all motions are supported on precise linear guidings. Eccentrically designed reducer inserts are used for smaller dimensions in order that the welding surface remains accessible. The clamping of the branch pipes is carried out in a solid standard pipe clamping tool that is also equipped with respective reducer inserts. The heating element is made out of a special basic material that guarantees such a high flexibility that it attaches ideally to the corrugated surface of both welding pieces. By using this special heating element, milled-to-form attachment plates in convex/concave design are not necessary. The flexible heating element is inserted into the welding area from above. A special drilling tool for the lateral drilling of the main pipes is available that may be fixed in the branch pipe clamping tool. The drilling diameter may be adjusted continuously between ID 50 – ID 215. The cutting heads are equipped with cutting inserts that may be reversed and replaced repeatedly.
