WIDOS 10000 mobile version

The WIDOS 10000 mobile version is suitable for the heating element butt welding of pipes and fittings out of PE and PP. The machine features a double clamping device, is guided on 2 very solid spherical liners and has two easily demountable hydraulic cylinders that are thus very service-friendly. Two connecting hoses are firmly mounted to the device.

The WIDOS 10000 is a mobile heating element butt welding machine that can be applied in many ways. The basic machine is mounted on a frame with four wheels. The position on location can thus be changed quick and easy. The WIDOS 10000 mobile version can be used to process pipes and fittings out of PE and PP from OD 500 up to OD 1000. The WIDOS 10000 mobile version features a double clamping device with quick clamping on the fixed and movable side. This is guided on 2 shafts. There are 2 flexible hoses with quick-action couplings for the connection to the hydraulic control unit. The planer has a chain drive in a closed aluminum housing, automatic chip removal to the outside and a control lamp for indicating wrong connection in the main supply. The heating element is anti-stick coated, has a control lamp for system and interval checking as well as an electronic temperature regulator according to DVS 2208. The upper parts are swiveling separately via hydraulics. The machine is operated from the front side. The left and right side of the basic machine WIDOS 10000 mobile version feature each one rollerstand firmly mounted facilitating the alignment of the pipes. The hydraulic cylinders are built into the base frame.

The extra solid steel construction of the WIDOS 12000 makes it especially resistant. It is suitable for pipes and fittings out of PE and PP from OD 710 up to OD 1200 and is used in the daily rough application on the construction site and in the trench. The machine features a double clamping device with quick clamping on the fixed and on the movable side. These are guided by 2 shafts. The hydraulic cylinders are screwed next to the guide shaft for a simple and quick installation resp. disassembly for service. There are 2 flexible hoses with quick-action couplings for the connection to the hydraulic control unit. The double clamping devices are screwed to the steel pipe frame. The outer fixed clamping device can be easily dismounted by removing 3 screws in order to weld at difficult accessible places, e.g. in trenches or at branches of T-pieces. The remaining unit of three rings can be removed from the base frame and used for repair work. The WIDOS 12000 is thus a 4-ring and a 3-ring machine in one device. Smaller pipe dimensions can be clamped by means of reducer inserts depending on the pipe diameter. A lift-off device for the easy inserting and removing of the heating element and planer is available. The hydraulic slewing crane (Palfinger) can be attached to the basic machine. The so-called truck loading crane features a hydraulic double extension up to 3.70 m and may swing by appr. 325°, thus being most suitable for handling heating element and planer. The slewing crane can be operated comfortably via remote control and is optionally equipped with all prescribed warning systems.
